Mandela
This book was written with the full co-operation of Nelson Mandela. He and President Jacob Zuma, Cyril Ramaphosa and other key South African leaders were present at its launch. A top selling book, it carries warm anecdotes of the man, and also personal details from his life and those of others covered by Charlene Smith in her journalistic career spanning the two decades of the 20th century and beyond. Filled with excellent photographs it is a tribute not just to Mandela but to those who persisted for freedom.
